Festival Costs

Registration

Registration Fee $12 per person Required when signing up for workshops, housing or meals. This fee is waived for Zimfest Association members, those buying only concert tickets or those wanting only to sign up for volunteer shifts.

July 28, 2015, is the last date to pre-register for housing and meals.

Most Workshops $15.00 per hour
Presentations $7.50 per hour

Meals (at Valsetz Food Court)

One meal per meal period; seconds re-entry not allowed.

Housing

Please note: When registering for multiple-occupancy rooms or suites, you choose your own roommates, not us! WOU housing policy states that “the maximum number of guests in a room is not to exceed the number of beds placed in a room by University at the time of check-in.”
All prices are per person, per night.

Noble Hall Apartments (Arbor Park)

Private single rooms in four-person apartments with two baths, full kitchen, with linen only.
Per person: $53.00 (no matter how many in the apartment)

Ackerman Hall

Traditional residence hall rooms with shared community bathrooms. If only one participant registers for a double room, you will be charged the single room rate.

Butler and Barnum Halls

Suites with outside entrances, private bathrooms and shared sleeping areas. Barnum suites accommodate three; Butler suites accommodate two and have kitchenettes.

Note: Single individuals renting rooms in either Barnum or Butler suites (with no roommates) will be charged $47 per night without linens or $52 per night with linens.

Tent and RV Camping

The charge for either tent or RV camping is $10 per night (per tent or RV).
All tents and recreational vehicles must display their registration number prominently.

Lost Key/Fob Charges: The fee for failing to turn in (or losing) a room key and fob for Ackerman Hall is $75.00! The fee for lost keys and fobs for all the other dorms is $50.00. Please remember to turn in your key and fob upon departure. Do not leave them in the rooms!

Afternoon Concerts

Afternoon concerts are free! No tickets are needed; just show up. Enjoy the African Marketplace too.

You may purchase tickets in advance along with your online registration, or you may buy them on site at the Registration Table. All tickets at the door are one price, regardless of performer status. Everyone must have a ticket to enter an evening concert.
