Web Site Credits

This is the official web site of the Zimbabwean Music Festival. Nearly all the content on this site was authored by members of Zimfest organizing committees.

This web site is designed and maintained by Larry Israel as a volunteer project, working for and with Zimfest organizers. You can reach me at webmaster@zimfest.org. While working as one of the organizers of the 1995 festival, I created this site as a means of making the registration guide more widely available. Since then, each year’s festival organizing group has decided to send me the content as they produce it rather than maintaining the web site themselves. (They have more than enough other work to do and can use all the help they can get.) The site has grown and evoloved over the years. In 1997, we got our own domain name, zimfest.org, and in 2001, Ross Thompson developed an online registration system, which he continues to maintain.
